Road Closings Due To Flooding (SNP Area)

The following information on road closings due to the summer '95 floods may be of use in estimating the impact of flooding on various areas in and around SNP. All roads have now been reopened, except those in the Rapidan Wildlife Management Area.

All counties in the area surrounding the Shenandoah National Park reported numerous secondary road closings. The following list highlights closings that were current, to the best of available information, as of 10:00 EDT 06/30/95:
