Bonus |
| The Affiliation Bonus is available for individuals who have
had prior active or inactive service in the Navy or Naval Reserve. |

Requirements:
Honorable release from active duty; serving reserve obligation in the IRR, or within 180
days of release from active duty obligation; affiliate in rate released from active duty
and must be in ECMO category A or B.
|
Payment:
Affiliation bonus amount is determined by the total number of months remaining on
enlistment multiplied by up to $50. If less than 18 months remaining on enlistment, lump
sum payment is authorized, if more than 18 months remaining, half to be paid upon
affiliation and half to be paid 12 months prior to the expiration of obligated service
date.

Bonus |
| The Reenlistment Bonus is designed for current Navy Reserve
drilling members. |
|
Requirements:
Must have less than ten years of total military service; must reenlist or voluntarily
extend existing Naval Reserve enlistment contract for 3 or 6 years in a designated
specialty rate which must be in ECMO category A or B.

Payment:
Reenlistment bonus pay will be delivered in installments; upon enlistment and on
anniversary years. Total payment will not exceed $2,499.98 for a 3 year enlistment or
$4,999.96 for a 6 year enlistment. Anniversary payments will not exceed $416.66. The
reenlistment bonus amount is determined solely by the length of the enlistment.

Service Enlistment Bonus |
| The Prior Service Enlistment Bonus is designed for former
enlisted U.S. Navy personnel |

Requirements:
Must have less than ten years of total military service; must be in a specialty in which
served on active duty; have not received a previous reserve component bonus; must enlist
for either 3 or 6 years.

Payment:
Enlistment bonus will be paid in installments; upon enlistment and on anniversary years.
Total payments will not exceed $2,499.98 for a 3 year enlistment or $4,999.96 for a 6 year
enlistment. Anniversary payments will not exceed $416.66. The enlistment bonus amount is
determined by the length of enlistment in a rating qualified as ECMO category A or B.
