Your Audience

It is always interesting to see how often your pages are being accessed and where these accesses are coming from. This type of information can help you in tailoring your efforts and producing information of interest to your consumers. It may also be required to justify your efforts to your organization's management.

To assist you in this, once you become an "Information Provider" you will be given access to a statistical package which will tell you how many times your pages are being read, which ones are being accessed the most, how many different "client machines" are being used to read them, and where these machines are located (e.g. education, government, business, foreign countries, etc.).

Central Virginia's Community Online also maintains a summary of statistics for overall use of our system.
