Exhibition: Art for Our Time

Opening Reception: Friday September 10, 2004 from 5 to 8 pm
Dates: September 10 to November 7 2004
Art for Our Time, a provocative exhibition featuring work commenting on government actions & policies; participating artists are  regionally & nationally known including Gregg Carbo, Stephen Clark, Cate  Fitt, Mary Holland, Tanja Softic', Heide Trepanier, Clark Whittington,Kay  Rosen & Cliff Baldwin plus a number of other artists. Curated by Alyssa Solomon.
The opening is Friday September 10, 2004 from 5 to 8 pm at  Plant Zero Art
Center, 0 East 4th Street, Richmond VA, and is free & open  to the public. 
During the opening WRIR dj's will play protest music from  around the globe &
across the decades.  The League of Women Voters  will register voters.  Jennifer
Van Winkle will have her wedding "photo  dummy" in action -- have your picture
taken as the gender of your  choice.
