"On Message: Art For Our Time" features the work of nationally & regionally known artists critiquing government & government policy. Participating artists are: Kay Rosen, Cliff Baldwin, Clark Whittington, Jerry Spagnoli, Heidi Trepanier, Alyssa C. Salomon, Cate Fitt, Mary Holand, Noah Scalin & Pete Humes, Tanja Softic, Jorge Benitez, Steve Clark, Greg Carbo, the photographic group Feast, recent VCU sculpture grad Whitney Lynn, and Jennifer Van Winkle. (In Plant Zero Phase I)
"Artspace Charity Auction" featuring a collection of celebrity and artist portraits by Daniel Paige. Silent Auction runs from Sunday, Sept. 12 throught Saturday Sept. 18. (In Plant Zero Phase II)
Final Auction takes place from 2-4pm on Sunday, Sept. 19th in Artspace.

Kick off the Virginia Music Fest and Art Expo 2004 with FREE Performances by "Blue Line Highway" and "Steppin Stone" at Artspace. Doors open at 6:30pm. Cash Bar.
Artspace and Madmonkie Entertainment are exicited to present the VA Music Fest and Art Expo, 2004, at the new Plant Zero Art Center on September 18th. The Music Fest and Art Expo is a day long event featuring a diverse selection of musicians and other artists who will be performing on four different stages throughout the facility, including the Plant Zero Event Hall, Artspace Gallery, Art Works Inc., and Howldog Photography Studio. Visual art exhibitions and an auction are also planned in conjunction with the festival.
This is a major fundraising effort for the gallery with partial proceeds being donated to Public Schools.
